Budget cuts, hiring freezes, increased workloads—with so many things threatening to hold you back, how can you keep your organization moving forward?

The Resilient Organization, a special low-cost series presented by Professional & Organizational Development (POD), aims to help UW leaders and their organizations succeed in tough times. Select professionals from POD’s University Consulting Alliance will conduct seminars in their areas of expertise. Each seminar in The Resilient Organization series will be two hours or less, with a registration fee of $40.

• POSITIVE SELF-MANAGEMENT IN CHALLENGING TIMES will offer strategies for optimizing your potential through building self-awareness, balance, and discipline; regulating your stress level; reframing messages; and communicating successfully.
  Tuesday, May 19 | 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

• FULL - PRODUCTIVITY -- DO MORE WITH LESS will provide tips on time planning and task management, tools to help staff accomplish more, and steps for implementing rapid process improvement in your department.
  Tuesday, June 16 | 1 p.m.–3 p.m.

Also, to help leaders and organizations succeed during tough times, the University Consulting Alliance offers services such as process improvement, strategic planning, organizational assessments, teambuilding, facilitated conversations, and coaching.
