Samuel E. Kelly Distinguished Faculty Lecture

W. Ron Allen, chairman and chief executive director of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, is this year's Charles E. Odegaard Award recipient, an honor given to an individual or group whose leadership sustains former UW President Odegaard's work on behalf of diversity at the University and the citizens of the state. Culture & the Arts
OMA&D, in partnership with UW World Series at Meany Hall and with generous support from Dr. Gary and Christine Kimura, recently hosted a pre-performance reception for the Kodo Taiko drum group of Japan. The event was attended by the vice consul for Japan, prominent community members, UW alumni and faculty. Our collaboration with UW World Series allows us to raise awareness of multicultural performances in Seattle and in the arts, and to promote the UW's many cultural resources. More ...
