Greetings, alumni and friends!
One word that currently comes to mind when describing UW Bothell is growth. We are growing and actively planning for our future. You will see growth coming in two ways—in the form of increased enrollment and numbers of students on campus, and in the growth of our long-term vision of UW Bothell. As we grow from 1,800 to 5,000 students over the next 12 years, we will need to increase our degree offerings to meet student and state demands. Read more ...

Campus Updates

UW Bothell to Offer MBA in Bellevue
UW Bothell recently received approval to extend its MBA Program southward to Bellevue, Wash. The new Leadership MBA in Bellevue will focus on developing business leaders through a mentorship and strategic leadership program. Read more ...

New Science & Technology Program Approved
The UW Regents recently approved creating a Science and Technology (STEM) Program at UW Bothell. Professors Warren Buck and Frank Cioch lead a transition team that is beginning program development. Degree offerings may be available as early as the 2009-10 academic year.

Nobel Winner Stiglitz Visits UW Bothell
UW Bothell welcomed Joseph Stiglitz, recipient of the 2001 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics and former senior vice president and chief economist at World Bank, to campus last month for an engaging presentation on his new book The Three Trillion Dollar War, The True Cost of the Iraq Conflict. "There are few topics that are more timely with the current state of the economy and international involvement in Iraq," noted Susan Jeffords, UW Bothell vice chancellor for academic affairs.

INSIGHT Now Online!

UW Bothell's newsletter for alumni and friends is now available online. The autumn edition of INSIGHT features stellar alums Sue Ambler, M.Ed. ’97, and Neil Low, IAS ’03.  Also included is an update on UW Bothell’s 21st Century Initiative. Check it out!
