The University of Washington hosts performances, events, lectures and exhibitions at a number of locations across the Seattle campus. Weekday Rates: Gatehouse hours are 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday-Friday. The parking fee is $12. Cash, checks and Visa/MasterCard are accepted. The fee is prorated, so partial refunds will be issued upon exiting for visits under four hours.

 

Evening and Weekend Rates: Parking after 4 p.m. on weekday evenings and before noon on Saturday is $8 in the Central Plaza Garage and $6 in other campus locations. Carpools of 3 or more are charged $6 in Central Parking Garage. Entrances between 8-9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 – noon on Saturdays are not eligible for refunds.

The auditorium is on the first floor of the Music Building in the heart of the UW’s upper campus.

From I-5, exit east onto N.E. 45th Street to 17th Avenue N.E. Turn right onto 17th Avenue N.E., stop at the gatehouse and tell the attendant you are going to a School of Music event at Brechemin Auditorium. You will be directed to the appropriate lot.

From Highway 520, exit north onto Montlake Boulevard N.E. Turn left onto N.E. Pacific Street. Turn right and head north on 15th Avenue N.E. Turn right and head east on N.E. 45th Street. Cross 15th Avenue N.E. and take the next right on 17th Avenue N.E. Stop at the gatehouse and tell the gate attendant you are going to a School of Music event at Brechemin Auditorium. The museum is on the north edge of campus at the corner of 17th Avenue N.E. and N.E. 45th Street.

From I-5, exit east onto N.E. 45th Street to 17th Avenue N.E. Turn right onto 17th. The museum is immediately on your right at the north entrance to the university. Stop at the gatehouse and ask the attendant for specific parking information.

From Highway 520, exit north onto Montlake Boulevard N.E. Turn left onto N.E. Pacific Street. Turn right and head north on 15th Avenue N.E. Turn right on N.E. 45th Street. The Henry Art Gallery | Web site | Map

The gallery is on the western edge of campus at 15th Avenue N.E. and N.E. 41st Street.

From I-5, exit east onto N.E. 45th Street to 15th Avenue N.E. Turn south on 15th Avenue N.E. The Henry Gallery is on the left between N.E. 41st Street and N.E. Campus Parkway. Parking is often available in the underground UW Central Plaza Parking Garage at N.E. 41st Street. On Sundays, parking is usually available for no fee.

From Highway 520, exit north onto Montlake Boulevard N.E. Turn left onto N.E. Pacific Street. Turn right and head north on 15th Avenue N.E. The Gallery is on the right between N.E. 41st Street and N.E. Campus Parkway. Parking is often available in the underground UW Central Plaza Parking garage at N.E. 41st Street. Both Meany Theater and Meany Studio Theatre are in Meany Hall adjacent to Red Square.

From I-5, exit east onto N.E. 45th Street Turn right on 45th Street and proceed to 15th Avenue N.E. Turn right at 15th Avenue N.E. and proceed to N.E. 41st Street. Turn left into the UW Central Plaza Parking Garage. Once inside the parking garage, look for white and purple signs directing you to Meany Theater. Take the elevator to the main lobby of the theater.

Meany Studio Theatre (Web site): If you have parked in the parking garage, look for the signs directing you to the Meany Studio Theatre. If you are on foot on upper campus, the main entrance is at the northeast corner of Meany Hall. On the “Red Square” level of Meany Hall, you will see a sign for the Meany Studio Theatre. Follow the stairs down and through the sculpture garden. Meany Studio Theatre will be in front of you.

The theater is just off campus at N.E. 41st Street and University Way N.E. Street parking may be available. There is a small parking lot immediately behind the theater.

From I-5, exit east onto N.E. 45th Street. Proceed to 15th Avenue N.E. Turn right at 15th Avenue N.E. and proceed to N.E. 41st Street. Turn right on N.E. 41st Street. Turn left onto Brooklyn Avenue N.E. The parking lot is immediately on the right.
