OMA&D isn’t the only organization celebrating a milestone in 2018. The Black Student Union, whose activism led to the founding of OMA&D, and UW Filipinx student organizations are recognizing special landmark years as well.
Filipinx UW Centennial Celebration
During the 2017-18 academic year, Filipinx student organizations, led by the Filipino American Student Association, are celebrating their presence on the UW campus since 1917.
BSU Celebrates 50
In January 2018, the Black Student Union recognized its 50th anniversary with an event that brought together past and current members, supporters and founders.
