Recommendations

Our recommendations are expressed in the following:

Recommended Measures of Accountability: a table listing our recommendations divided into four categories: faculty-focused measures, student-focused measures, external impact measures and reporting vehicles. Explanations are presented in referenced appendices. Those measures that are new or are significantly modified from existing measures of accountability are marked by an asterisk (*). All of the other measures listed are currently used by the UW, the HEC Board and the State Legislature.
Highlights: four new measures that reflect scholarship, undergraduate research experiences, public service, and reporting.
Additional Recommendations: four recommendations including a call for the creation of an Advisory Board on Accountability, which would function as a standing advisory committee to the Provost.
