HOW CAN THE TOPPLING AND CREATIVE REAPPROPRIATION OF MONUMENTS AROUND THE WORLD INFORM OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE PUBLIC RECKONING WITH THE LEGACIES OF COLONIALISM AND SLAVERY? HOW HAVE COMMUNITIES CHALLENGED TRADITIONAL NARRATIVES OF THE PAST THROUGH THE ARTS TO ENVISION NEW FUTURES AND BRING ABOUT POSITIVE CHANGE?
