We are very excited that AccessComputing has funding to caption your videos!
Video presentations need captions for the content to be accessible to viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Captioning also benefits individuals whose first language is not the primary language used in the video, individuals in a loud or quiet environment, and those who wish to search through a collection of videos for specific content.
There is a short application to complete. Please submit videos used by your organization or department that are highly-visible, high-impact, multiple use, and/or strategic videos. This might be
- videos available to the public on your website,
- videos that will be used multiple times in a course, or
- videos developed by several faculty members to be used in several different classes.
These videos do not necessarily have to be created by your department or organization.
To be considered, apply online. Videos must be submitted by November 15, 2024.
