This year, AccessADVANCE, AccessComputing, and the NSF INCLUDES TAPDINTO-STEM Alliance have submitted videos to the National Science Foundation (NSF) STEM for All Video Showcase. This weeklong showcase—running from May 10th – 17th, 2022—features three-minute videos that seek to improve science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education and encourage a variety of stakeholders to interact with the media, the creators, and each other. The general public is invited—along with educators, project leaders, researchers, policy makers, and industry representatives—to “view the video presentations, post to the facilitated discussions related to each video, and vote for the videos that are most effective in conveying the creative work being done.” After the Showcase, videos and discussions are archived for future access. DO-IT is involved in three video submissions this year:
- Making STEM More Inclusive of Faculty with Disabilities
(AccessADVANCE)
- Supporting Computer Science Student Mental Health
(AccessComputing)
- TAPDINTO STEM: An Alliance of Students with Disabilities
(NSF INCLUDES TAPDINTO-STEM Alliance)
We also would like to highlight these other videos in the Showcase:
