Join us for an engaging session with Dr. Lisa Levin, a leading advocate for the 3Rs. Dr. Levin will discuss key steps in promoting the adoption of non-animal research models in her keynote address, “Diplomacy, Policy, and Money: Packing Essentials for the Road to NAMsVille.”
The event will also feature lightning talks by the 2024 3Rs Pilot Award recipients, showcasing their innovative work in advancing the 3Rs principles: replacement, reduction, and refinement.
This event is open to the UW community and the public. A free networking lunch will be provided (limited to the first 40 attendees; registration for lunch is now full).

Lisa Hara Levin
Lisa Hara Levin is the Alternatives Director for Coridea, LLC, a private equity investment firm that is a leading inventor in the medical device arena. There, Lisa identifies non-animal methods for discrete research areas of cardiology, renal disease, and neuroscience. She has also occupied senior-level clinical and administrative positions in some of the country’s largest animal sheltering systems. Lisa is a graduate of Cornell (BS) and Tufts University (DVM) and completed her postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
