Burke Museum 4-K

General: The Burke Museum is a joint University and Washington State museum. Its dual mission is to educate and encourage appreciation of Washington State, the Pacific Northwest and Pacific Rim and has numerous exhibit halls, research laboratories, a gift shop and classrooms. A café and patio are located in the lower level.

Parking: The circular drive in front from Memorial Way has wheelchair parking.

Lot N1 has disability and wheelchair parking.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #4 is located at the Burke Museum, main entrance off Memorial Way.

Stop #3 is located at the Burke Museum, cafe, Entrance #9, at the south side of building.

Entrances: Entrance #1 at the main floor has a ramp, a 31" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Entrance #9 at the ground floor (to the Boiserie Cafe) has a level approach, and a 29" doorway and pull hardware.

Entrance #11 at the ground floor has a level approach and a 34" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Elevator(s): The elevator #85 is a passenger/freight elevator that serves both public floors and the basement. Follow signs or ask staff for assistance in locating the elevator. Highest button is 36", Braille markers.

Restrooms: An accessible unisex restroom is located on the main exhibit floor. Most accessible restrooms are located on ground floor near cafe.

Fountain: Located on main level.

Telephone: Pay phone is located on ground floor by restrooms.

Food Service: The Burke Cafe is located on the lower level.
