General: Hutchinson Hall (College of Arts & Sciences) houses the the School of Drama; faculty, staff and student offices; studios and rehearsal spaces and classrooms. Also located here is the Drama branch library. A swimming pool managed by Recreational Sports is located in the east wing of this building.
Parking: Lot N3 (NE) across Stevens Way has wheelchair and disability parking.
Dial-A-Ride: Stop #9 is located in parking lot N3 at Mackenzie Hall.
Entrances: There is no single entrance to Hutchinson Hall that provides access to the entire interior of the building.
Entrance #1 has an exterior ramp, a pair of 31" doorways, and a pair of automatic operators paddle controls.
Entrance #5 to the pool has a level approach, a 31" doorway, and a pull handle.
Entrance #10 to the library has a ramp, a 31" doorway, a lever handle, and a doorbell.
Elevator(s): No elevator. A wheelchair stair lift (WCL) near the main entrance #1, serves the 1st and 2nd floors. Lift capacity is 450 lbs. platform is 28-1/2" x 34". Needs key to operate. Highest button 33", no Braille markers.
Restrooms: The most accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the 1st floor.
Fountain: 1st and 2nd, spout height 43".
