Theodor Jacobsen Observatory  4-K

General: The Theodor Jacobsen Observatory (College of Arts & Sciences) is the second oldest building on campus and houses a small telescope, open for public viewing on Monday and Thursday nights from 9-11 p.m. (check for seasonal conditions).

Parking:  Lot N5 is closest, and has 2 disability parking stalls.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #6 is located in Parking Lot N5 at the Observatory.

Entrances: Entrance #6 to the main floor classroom has a ramp, a 39" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Elevator(s): None (2-story building; must use narrow, steep stairs to get to telescope).

Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the 1st floor.

Fountain: 1st floor, 27.25" to spout.

Telephone: None. Pay phone located at south end of Parking lot N5 along Stevens Way.
