John Green, author of bestsellers “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Looking for Alaska” and “The Anthropocene Reviewed,” has a new book inspired by his friendship with a young boy diagnosed with tuberculosis. “Everything is Tuberculosis” tells Henry’s story, woven through with the scientific and social histories of how tuberculosis has shaped our world — and how our choices will shape the future of tuberculosis.

This lecture is sold out, but UWAA members have special access. Hear this inspiring and captivating speaker talk about his research for his first non-fiction work, which still has the same themes of hope, grit and overcoming struggles as his bestselling fiction. John Green will be in conversation with Dr. Chetan Seshadri, Director of the Seattle Tuberculosis Research Advancement Center.
