Luminary Walk at the Arboretum

Washington Park Arboretum, Graham Visitors Center
The Washington Park Arboretum comes to light as you stroll among the trees, enjoy a hot beverage and create seasonal decorations at this special event just for UWAA members, thanks to the UW Botanic Gardens.
This event has two sessions: All-Ages (3:30-5:30 p.m.) and 21+ (6-8:30 p.m.)
All-Ages Session
3:30-5:30 p.m. | $20
Gather at the Graham Visitors Center at Washington Park Arboretum. Meet other Huskies while enjoying complimentary hot cocoa and cider. Get crafty and make nature-themed gift tags together in the visitors center. Then enjoy a luminary forest walk at dusk on the arboretum’s forested paths! Food (from Isidro’s food truck) will be available for purchase at the event.
Add some cheer to the darkest time of the year!
*Each UWAA member can bring up to three guests to this event. Children 5 and over are welcome to the all-ages session. We require at least one adult for every two children in a party.
21+ Session
6-8:30 p.m. | $20
Gather at the Graham Visitors Center at Washington Park Arboretum. Meet other Huskies while enjoying complimentary hot toddies, beer and wine. Then enjoy a luminary forest walk after dark on the arboretum’s forested paths! Food (from Isidro’s food truck) will be available for purchase at the event.

Event Details
The route for the luminary walk will be decided the day of the event based on local conditions. Guests are advised to dress for inclement weather and to wear shoes that can get muddy. The path is not intended to be strenuous, but it will not be ADA-accessible. Please note that the paths in the Arboretum will not have any lighting beyond the small decorative lanterns; we recommend bringing flashlights or headlamps for the trails.
