Service & Leadership Roots Run Deep for McKennas
Washington state Attorney General Rob McKenna graduated from the University of Washington’s Honors Program in 1985 with degrees in economics and international studies. As an undergraduate, he also served as the student-body president. Twenty-five years later, his daughter Madeleine McKenna follows her father’s footsteps as a current Honors student, also earning degrees in economics and international studies. Madeleine McKenna is the current ASUW vice president and co-founder of Husky Mentors, a program that connects freshmen with seasoned students to ease their transitions to the University. We asked Rob McKenna and Madeleine McKenna to share the roots of their commitments to service and leadership. Watch the video.April 2010 | Return to issue home | |||
