UW NetID

Whether you’re a recent graduate, a longtime member or an alum, your UW NetID (which stands for University of Washington Network Identification) is your digital portal to the UW.

You will need a UW NetID to utilize an array of alumni services including transcript requests. Your UW NetID verifies who you are, ensures the privacy of your personal information, and restricts the use of UW resources to authorized users.

If you are a UWAA member who is not a UW alum and need to create a UW NetID to access your UW Libraries services account, please email uwalumni@uw.edu to get the process started. In the subject line, please write “Create NetID for Library Services Account”. Please note this process can take up to two weeks due to the multiple steps and departments that are involved.
