About the Venue

Wooden troll sculpture outside the National Nordic MuseumThe National Nordic Museum shares Nordic culture, values, and ideas with all people to inspire new futures. Founded in 1979, this is the only institution of its size and scale in the United States to present the history and culture of the entire Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the regions of the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland, and the cultural region of Sápmi) and the legacy of Nordic immigrants to the United States.

Street parking is free on Sundays. Guests can also enjoy free valet parking for this event (starting at noon, which gives you time to check out the museum exhibits!), as well as limited free ADA parking. Taking public transit? Metro buses 17 and 44 go right by the museum, and Metro bus 40 and the RapidRide D Line have stops a few blocks away. Plan your trip.
