UWAA and BECU partner for students

Since 2008, BECU and the UW Alumni Association have joined together to support our members, UW students and the alumni community.

The UWAA and BECU both value strong ties to the community and focus on member satisfaction. That’s why, for more than a decade, the two nonprofits have been teaming up to offer affinity card programs, financial literacy seminars, student scholarships and more.

Since 2015, BECU has helped the UWAA make the annual fall membership drive more meaningful by matching UWAA member dues with a gift to UWAA student programs. That’s $50 per regular annual membership, up to $50,000.

In the fall of 2022, thanks to the strong response by new and renewing members, BECU once again donated the full match fund amount. That brings the total to $400,000 over eight years to support UW students and UWAA programming.
