Winter Husky Socials
Get out of the house and get ready for a fun February! Share big ideas and try new skills — while sharing your Husky pride. Please note: All events require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the event, per UW and King County guidelines. See full details below. Masks are required at all events.
Detailed COVID-19 Information
(Updated 1/7/2022) The safety of our participants, volunteers and community members is of utmost concern. Following guidance from the UW, this event is requiring all participants to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event. You will be asked to show this proof when you arrive at the event. Face coverings will be required for all attendees, both indoors and outdoors. Likewise, our staff and volunteers will be vaccinated and masked.
Fully-vaccinated Registrants
Registrants vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose CDC- or WHO-authorized mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer), or a single-dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson), are considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the final dose of the vaccine (the second dose for a two-dose regimen, or the single dose for a single-dose regimen). Documentation of vaccination status must be shown to the UWAA representative upon arrival at the event.
The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination:
- CDC COVID-19 vaccine record card or photo of vaccine card.
- Printed certificate or QR code (available at the end of September) from MyIRMobile.com.
- Other official immunization record from within or outside the U.S., including from your health care provider. A photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable.
- No ID is needed with your vaccination card/negative test.
Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.
Unvaccinated Registrants
Registrants unable to be vaccinated, including children under 5 and people with a medical or religious exemption, will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event.
Results from PCR tests as well as antigen (a.k.a “rapid”) tests that have been administered by a testing provider, will be accepted. Rapid tests used without the supervision of a testing provider (e.g., self-administered over the counter tests, or home tests) cannot be accepted.
The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result:
- Printed document (from test provider or laboratory) OR
- An email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.
The information provided should include the name of the person tested, the type of test result performed, and the date of the negative test result.
