Business, academic & research continuity

Helping UW make plans to continue services during and after a crisis.

The UW’s Business, Academic, and Research Continuity (BARC) program helps departments in Seattle, Bothell and Tacoma plan so that they’ll know what to do if something affects their ability to hold classes, offer services or conduct research.

Continuity plans prepare departments for a variety of challenges — from building flooding caused by a broken pipe to a cyberattack — and challenges we haven’t even thought of yet.
