Husky Ready is the online continuity planning tool used by the UW and many other universities. You’ll use Husky Ready to build your continuity plan.
New version of Husky Ready
BARC is launching a new version of Husky Ready to make the planning process easier and provide more in-depth information for departments using the plan during and after a disruption.
Here’s what you need to do to access Husky Ready:
- If you used the previous version of Husky Ready, login and download any content you want to keep by Sept. 1, 2025. After Sept. 1, the system and the documents stored there will no longer be available.
- Complete the new Husky Ready orientation and the post-orientation survey. Afterward, you will receive information about accessing Husky Ready.
- Schedule a meeting with BARC and your department leadership for an overview of the BARC process and set expectations (optional).
- Decide if you want to participate in a BARC cohort, get one-on-one support for creating your plan or complete your plan on your own with support from BARC.
Husky Ready login
After you’ve completed the user guide and received access to the system from BARC, login to the new version of Husky Ready.
