Husky Ready is the online continuity planning tool used by the UW and many other universities. You’ll use Husky Ready to build your continuity plan.

New version of Husky Ready coming soon

BARC is launching a new version of Husky Ready to make the planning process easier and provide more in-depth information for departments using the plan during and after a disruption.

New Husky Ready users

Welcome to Husky Ready! Here’s what you need to do to get started.

  1. Prior to accessing the system, complete Husky Ready orientation.
  2. Complete the BARC Husky Ready access request form
  3. You will receive an email in 3-5 business days with information about accessing Husky Ready.
  4. Start planning!

Existing Husky Ready users

We’re excited to introduce the new version of Husky Ready. If you had access to the prior version of Husky Ready here’s what you need to do.

  1. Login to the previous version of Husky Ready. Download any content you would like to keep by Sept. 1, 2025. After Sept. 1, the system and the documents stored there will no longer be available.
  2. Complete the new Husky Ready orientation.
  3. Complete the BARC Husky Ready access request form.
  4. You will receive an email in 3-5 business days with information about accessing Husky Ready.
  5. Start planning!

After you’ve completed the user guide and received access to the system from BARC, login to the new version of Husky Ready.

Use

Using Husky Ready to build a continuity plan will generally be a facilitated process via workshops or 1:1 guidance, but some plan owners may have the initiative to undertake much of the work independently with collaboration with the BARC office.
