Dr. Shirley Malcom (Zoology, ’69), head of Education and Human Resources Programs at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C., will return to the UW on March 31 to present Education and Empowerment: Opportunity for Sci-duction, the annual UW Biology Mindlin Lecture. The Burke Museum will display the South Lake Union Mammoth Tusk on the two last weekends in March, from 10 am – 5 pm. The tusk continues to be carefully monitored by Burke paleontologists to ensure that it is drying properly, so please check their website for any schedule updates.
