Public Health Cafe considers seafood safety
Public Health Café is a series of informal, interactive conversations intended to raise awareness about public health issues. On Tuesday, October 9th, join other members of the public at the Chaco Canyon Organic Café in West Seattle from 6:30-9 pm, where an expert from the UW Center for Ecogenetics & Environmental Health will discuss “Seafood: It’s Healthy, But Is It Safe to Eat?”

International Conservation Photography Awards at the Burke

From now until November 25, the Burke Museum is featuring the International Conservation Photography (ICP) Awards, 75 award-wining photographs from across the globe. The Burke is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, except for the first Thursday of each month when it is open until 8 pm and admission is free.
