UW leads nation in Peace Corps volunteers
According to an article in today’s Seattle Times, the UW is at the top of the list for the number of graduates volunteering for the Peace Corps, a repeat honor from 2007-2010 when it also topped the large schools list.
Annual lecture to focus on technology and values
Batya Friedman, professor in the UW Information School, will present the 37th annual University Faculty Lecture on Thursday, February 7 in Kane Hall. Director of the Value Sensitive Design Research Lab, Friedman will discuss technology, human values and the future.
