The Burke Museum will display the South Lake Union Mammoth Tusk on the two last weekends in March, from 10 am – 5 pm. The tusk continues to be carefully monitored by Burke paleontologists to ensure that it is drying properly, so please check their website for any schedule updates.

This 9th annual event for both adults and children features opportunities to talk with glaciologists, biologists, climate experts and others from the UW Applied Physics Laboratory and its Polar Science Center as well as numerous interactive activities and displays that include local artists, photographers and zookeepers who focus on polar environments.
