Burke-Gilman Trail users will see a detour starting the early weeks of February as work on the Montlake Triangle Project – the triangular area from the corner of Northeast Pacific and Montlake to Stevens Way – gets underway.

Under the Wings of Artemis, Academic Works of the UW Classics Faculty Reflected In Modern Book Arts is now on exhibit until Feb. 21, 2014 in the Allen Library Balcony and the Special Collections Lobby and Reading Rooms. Free lecture examines strengthening our communities
MacArthur “genius” Fellow Majora Carter will present “Department of HomeTown Security” on Wednesday, January 22 in Kane Hall, part of the Graduate School Public Lecture Series. The lecture is free but advance reservations are required.
Free artist lecture series at the Henry
Starting January 16th with sculptor Allyson Vieira and ending March 13th, the School of Art will present seven public presentations by cutting-edge creators and curators talking about their work. All presentations are on Thursdays at 7pm and take place in the Henry Art Gallery auditorium. Please RSVP online.
