The UW Department of Sociology presents the Stice Memorial Lecture on June 4, “Iraq and the Crimes of Pre-Emptive War”. Free and open to the public but advance reservations required.
Observatory program for the sight-impaired

Anyone who is blind, partially-sighted or who works with the sight impaired is invited to “Evolution of the Sun for the Sight Impaired”, a special program at the Theodor Jacobsen Observatory on June 5 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. To RSVP, or for more information, please email anamunn@uw.edu.
New exhibits by the next generation of artists

A one-night exhibit of work by UW Interdisciplinary Visual Arts students, part of the University District Alley Art Party, will be held in the alley between The Ave/15th and 42nd/43rd on Wednesday, May 29, from 5-8pm.
The annual exhibit of curated work by UW Master of Fine Arts and Master of Design students is on display now through June 23 at Henry Art Gallery.
