Value of democracy topic of lecture
What Is Democracy and What Is It Good For? is the subject of a free public lecture on April 16 in Kane Hall. Sponsored by the Simpson Center on the Humanities, the lecture will be presented by Josiah Ober, professor of political science, classics, and philosophy at Stanford University.
Community invited to summer dance program

On Thursday evening, April 18th, the Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental Health will sponsor a public forum, “Seattle Waterways & Your Health: The Duwamish River Cleanup” at the Portage Bay Cafe in South Lake Union. Free and open to the public but please RSVP to guarantee a space.
