While we are still learning more about the new variant, vaccine boosters have been shown to provide additional protection and we strongly encourage a COVID vaccine booster for everyone who is eligible to receive one.

Moderna and Pfizer vaccine boosters available for ages 18+ (Post updated)

Based on updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), UW Medicine is now providing boosters of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines — as well as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine — to all patients ages 18 or older.

As we begin the autumn quarter, we are writing to inform you of updates to the University’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement in light of the Governor’s recent changes to state vaccine requirements. These updates will require you to provide additional information — even if you previously completed the student vaccination attestation.
