Earned a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus in human-computer interaction from Stanford University. Works at Google improving the accessibility of Google+. Was the keynote speaker at the second Annual Math and Science Conference for Principals of Schools for the Blind; and gave a presentation on the Nemetex Nemeth Back-Translator, the Nemeth (Braille math) back-translation software that she developed. She has a black Labrador named Lexia, her first guide dog.
