We added The Veterans Center to our collection of AccessCollege websites for stakeholder groups who wish to promote the success of individuals with disabilities in postsecondary studies.

The collection of websites is at AccessCollege:

  • The Faculty Room - a space for faculty and academic administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn how to create classroom environments and academic activities that maximize the learning of all students, including those with disabilities.
  • The Student Services Conference Room - a space for staff and administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn how to create facilities, services, and resources that are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities.
  • The Employment Office - resources to help individuals with disabilities prepare for employment and employers to work with them.
  • The Student Lounge - resources to help students with disabilities prepare for and succeed in college.
  • The Veterans Center - resources to help veterans with disabilities succeed in college and to help postsecondary institutions welcome them.
  • The Board Room - a space for high-level administrators at postsecondary institutions to learn how to create and facilitate the development of programs and services that are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities.
  • The Center for Universal Design in Education - a comprehensive website on principles, processes, guidelines, checklists, and promising practices for applying universal design to instruction, student services, information technology, and physical spaces.
