'02 Ambassadors
DO-IT Ambassadors are pursuing postsecondary studies and careers. They share their experiences with DO-IT Scholars and Pals, encouraging them to pursue their goals in college and employment.

Works as a dental assistant.
Osteogenesis imperfecta and syringomyelia Attended Big Bend Community College with a major in business accounting. Passed away January 2011.

Graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in applied and computational mathematical sciences. Interested in software engineering, website construction, or other computer-related occupation.

Earned bachelor's degrees in political economics and history and a master's degree in policy studies from the University of Washington. Worked at the Defense Contract Management Agency and at the University of Washington's Access Technology Center.

Earned a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Washington. Volunteers at a variety of organizations including the Seattle Public Library and the King County Library System.
Low vision
Earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington. Works in a University of Washington lab. Engaged to be married in October.

Earned a political science degree from the Evergreen State College.

Graduated from Columbia Basin College with an associate's degree in liberal arts.

Studies design at Cornish College of the Arts. Works in abstract painting.

Graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in political science and communications. Completed internships at NOAA and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Muscular dystrophy
Earned a computer science degree from the University of Washington. Has had several successful high school and college internships, and currently works as a full-time software development engineer. Enjoys sailing an accessible boat with Footloose Sailing Association.

Graduated from the University of Washington. Lives in Washington, DC and works in new media, analyzing user behavior for a news magazine's website. Would be happy to be a resource for any Scholars interested in working in new media.
