Who studies the accessibility of transportation?

Located at Oregon State University, the Center for Accessible Transportation (CAT) research is focused on solving problems related to accessible public transportation including intra-city and over-the-road-buses, trains, and air travel. Its goal is to make travel seamless, safe and dignified for all.

The Transportation group focuses on applied research into state and national transportation priorities. Current research activities include: transportation safety, human factors, traffic control devices, intelligent transportation systems, accessible transportation systems including passenger rail and aviation transportation and congestion management, transportation engineering education, and access management.
