DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1900, the College Board is a national membership association of schools and colleges whose aim is to facilitate secondary school student transition to higher education. It serves high schools, colleges, universities, students and parents. The on-line site has information about college board tests such as the SAT, CLEPs and Advanced Placement (AP) exams, including test dates and on-line registration. Also look for the financial aid calculator and college search database.

PROCEDURE

1. Visit the website: http://www.collegeboard.com/
2. Try out the SAT "Question of the Day" (Don't worry...they give a hint if you need it). Or use the financial aid calculator to figure college costs. Then wander through the gallery of artwork done by AP art students as part of their college placement portfolios.
