Earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington (UW). Is an academic research scientist and has contributed to 18 publications. Currently working in the Eichler Lab in UW’s Department of Genome Science.

Earned an associate degree from Clark College and a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Washington State University (WSU). Works at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the intensive care unit as an animal tech. Enjoys teaching fourth year vet students hands-on skills. Also loves helping animals recover from being sick or injured. Married in June of 2021 and is the proud mother of an eight-year-old boy.

Works for Microsoft as a quality assurance tester in their video games division. Interested in software engineering, website construction, and other computer-related occupations.
