Fiscal cliff threatens UW research funding
The looming fiscal cliff is all over the news lately. What many people don’t realize that automatic budget reductions could hit Washington harder hit than other states. Scientific research funds from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Department of Energy’s Office of Science and Defense Science and Technology could be cut.
