Jennifer Cohen announced as new athletic director
UW President Ana Mari Cauce announced Tuesday that Jennifer Cohen, senior associate athletic director at the University of Washington, will be the UW’s new athletic director, effective June 1. Read more from UW Today.
UW announces the Husky 100
The UW announced the class of students in the inaugural Husky 100. The program recognizes 100 UW undergraduate and graduate students from Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma in all areas of study who are making the most of their time at the UW. Huskies headed to the Final Four
The UW Women’s basketball team departed for the Final Four this morning with help from a large crowd of supporters gathered at Husky stadium. The seventh-seeded Huskies head to Indianapolis for their first Final Four in program history. Seattle Mayor Ed Murray addressed the crowd and proclaimed it Purple and Gold Week in honor of the team.
