UW announces the Husky 100

The UW announced the class of students in the inaugural Husky 100. The program recognizes 100 UW undergraduate and graduate students from Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma in all areas of study who are making the most of their time at the UW. UW ranked as a top value by Forbes

The University of Washington is ranked No. 23 in the nation and No. 14 among public institutions for best value by Forbes. The UW is also No. 9 among West Coast schools and is the top-ranked institution in the state. Read more from UW Today.

 

Huskies headed to the Final Four

FinalFourWomensBBallEdMurrayMarch2016The UW Women’s basketball team departed for the Final Four this morning with help from a large crowd of supporters gathered at Husky stadium. The seventh-seeded Huskies head to Indianapolis for their first Final Four in program history. Seattle Mayor Ed Murray addressed the crowd and proclaimed it Purple and Gold Week in honor of the team.
