The event will also feature a seasonal menu incorporating fresh produce from the UW Farm, live music and compelling stories from members of our UW community.

Celebrating your impact — rain or shine

In the event of rain, the Gala reception will continue at a new venue. Volunteers and event signage will lead you to check-in and the new location.

We will continue to monitor weather patterns and update you accordingly. A coat check will also be available for your convenience.

Parking and arrival

Complimentary parking will be provided at the UW Central Plaza Garage. Please use the entrance at 15th Ave. NE and NE 41st St., and follow the signs to the C1 or C3 parking areas. Volunteers stationed in those areas will give you a pass to display on your dashboard.

Shuttles from the C1 parking area to the event will be provided for those who would like assistance.

Driving directions

I-5 north: Take the NE 45th St. exit. Turn right onto NE 45th St. and continue east to 15th Ave. NE. Turn right onto 15th Ave. NE. Continue south on 15th Ave. NE until you reach NE 41st St. The Central Plaza Garage entrance will be on your left.

I-5 south: Take the NE 45th St. exit. Turn left onto NE 45th St. and continue east to 15th Ave. NE. Turn right onto 15th Ave. NE. Continue south on 15th Ave. NE until you reach NE 41st St. The Central Plaza Garage entrance will be on your left.

WA-520 west: Take the Montlake Blvd. exit. Turn right onto Montlake Blvd. and continue north to NE Pacific St. Turn left onto NE Pacific St. and continue northwest to 15th Ave. NE. Turn right onto 15th Ave. NE. Continue north on 15th Ave. NE until you reach NE 41st St. The Central Plaza Garage entrance will be on your right.

Ride-share services

Lyft ride-share services are available for Gala guests. Use the Lyft app and special event code UWGALA24 for seamless drop-off and pickup arrangements. Apply up to $50 each toward two rides.
