Our History
Over the past century, UW students have united to show the power of participation. From the Yoshino cherry trees in the Quad to the supporting access to mental health resources, the mark of graduating Huskies is evident and everlasting.
UW Seattle Senior Class Gift
The graduating Class of 2023 at the UW Seattle is supporting the Undergraduate Research Program Gift Fund. The UW Undergraduate Research Program (URP) is an innovative unit that supports students and mentors wanting to engage in undergraduate research and creative scholarship across all disciplines. The program fosters intellectual curiosity and provides advising, resources, and connections. URP’s vision is to reach a greater diversity of students, spanning all academic disciplines, backgrounds, and stages of their undergraduate education. By empowering and supporting these young scholars, we can foster a culture shift that encourages undergraduate participation in high-impact practices like research.
UW Tacoma Senior Class Gift
The graduating class of 2023 at UW Tacoma has chosen to support the latest Washington State .5% for the arts investment at UW Tacoma: the Tacoma Seeds Project, led by South Sound artist, Aisha Harrison. Funds from the 2023 Senior Class will support the creation of an inspirational art piece on campus that reflects belonging at UW Tacoma and within the Tacoma community. Community members, including students and alumni, will have the opportunity to participate in the process. Having the art piece on campus will be healing, contribute to social change, promote access to art, and spark conversations and positive actions around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging when decisions are made that impact the UW Tacoma campus community and the Tacoma community.
UW Bothell Senior Class Gift
The graduating class of 2023 at UW Bothell has chosen to support the UW Bothell Husky Pantry Fund. The UW Bothell Husky Food Pantry provides food to students who are having a hard time putting food on their plates. It could be a result of being between paychecks or just needing some extra resources to get through the week or month. A gift to the Husky Pantry Fund helps make an immediate impact on a UW Bothell student experiencing food insecurity.
