Innovating and Expanding Student Global Opportunities
We believe in:
-Building a strong and sustainable pipeline to broaden student access to global education opportunities
-Proactively developing scalable programming that meets the needs of our diverse student population
Catalyzing Community Global Engagement
We aim to:
-Convene faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners around strategic global themes and topics
-Advocate for the importance of global engagement to leaders across the UW
-Build a global information hub to proactively share our information, data, resources, and services
Expanding and Improving Services and Support for International Travelers
We intend to:
-Implement new blanket medical coverage for all UW official travelers abroad
-Expand outreach to increase and improve knowledge of policies & processes around international travel at UW
-Increase knowledge of the support that is available from UW Global Travel Health and Safety
