The hazing prevention and response team provides leadership and partnership across all UW campuses and locations to partner with stakeholders for the following: prevention and awareness of hazing behavior, investigation of hazing allegations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws surrounding hazing.

Alex is the Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct. He joined the university in October 2023 and earned his B.S. in Middle-Level Education from Winthrop University. He also received his M.Ed. in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and his M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Winthrop University. He is an affiliated member of an NIC fraternity. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, working, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Alex’s pronouns are he/him/his.
