The Hearing Office works closely with University process partners on student conduct. Here is some information about those partners and how you can reach them.
Student Conduct Offices
There are several offices across the University’s three campuses that support students, faculty, and staff with academic and behavioral misconduct issues. These offices can also provide referrals to resources as appropriate.
University of Washington – Bothell, Student Conduct Office: The Student Conduct Office in the Division of Student Affairs works with those involved in the conduct process on the University’s Bothell campus.
Community Standards & Student Conduct (CSSC): CSSC works with students involved in the conduct process on the University’s Seattle campus.
University of Washington – Tacoma, Student Conduct Office: The Office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity in Tacoma assists with matters on the University’s Tacoma campus.
Civil Rights Investigation Office
The Civil Rights Investigation Office is responsible for investigating complaints that a University student engaged in conduct that violates any of the sexual misconduct provisions of the Student Conduct Code, including sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, indecent exposure, relationship violence, stalking, and domestic violence. Review Coordinator
If a party wishes to appeal an initial order, they can submit a request for administrative review to the University’s Review Coordinator. Visit the Student Conduct office’s website for more information.
SafeCampus
SafeCampus is the University of Washington’s violence-prevention and response program. SafeCampus supports students, staff, faculty, and community members in preventing violence. Their specialists will listen and provide individualized safety plans tailored to each unique situation and connect you with additional resources when needed. Respondent Resource
