Summer Leagues
2 v 2 Sand Volleyball Tournament
ACTIVITY
The tournament will feature an open division. Teams will be scheduled into preliminary pool play followed by a single elimination tournament. Teams are guaranteed three games.
Players may participate on only one team.

PLAYING DAYS/TIMES
Play begins July 10. Games will be scheduled at 4:00pm and 4:30pm, for Wednesday leagues. Teams should be prepared to play at either of these times but will be allowed to sign-up for preferred times during the 3-week preliminary round robin schedule.
ENTRY PROCEDURES
- Participants must submit $30 payment & register a team at reg.recreation.uw.edu prior to the entry deadline. Entries will be taken on-line on a first come first serve basis beginning June 17, 2019.
- You will receive a link to our team management site in your confirmation email, after checkout. For more information on how to complete rosters and view schedules, please go to the Team Management tab. Entries will be accepted after the deadline if space is available.
Rosters are limited to 4 players per team. The seeding of teams into the playoffs will be determined by league standings with various divisions tiered by win-loss records. Teams will be able to select their first round playoffs games on IMLeagues using staggered access to bracket based on your record. ONLY teams without a forfeit will be included in the Playoffs.

Soccer
ACTIVITY
Leagues are offered for open teams, with seven starting players per side. Teams will be scheduled for five weeks of round robin league play, followed by a single elimination playoff bracket.
Open leagues have no gender specific rules or player ratio requirements.
Players may only participate one open team.
Shirt Rule: Teams will be designated as home (Light/white-colored shirt) and away (dark-colored shirt) as indicated on the schedules. Teams are responsible for wearing the appropriately colored shirt each game. Team captains need to check the schedules carefully.

The free agent program assists in helping individuals to become participants on teams even if they don’t know enough people on campus to form a team. All it takes is signing up on a free agent roster on IMLeagues and attending the free agent meeting.
FREE AGENT MEETING
Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 4:00PM, IMA Lounge, IMA Building. The meeting agenda will include the following topics: player eligibility, schedule information, protest procedures, rules review, and other important information that team captains are responsible for knowing. Team captains are asked to take the on-line quiz at IMLeagues, covering program policies and league rules that captains are responsible for knowing. Captains may elect to attend the meeting if they choose. The meeting is expected to last 30-45 minutes.

Co-Rec teams consist of 5 males and 5 females, with batting order alternating male/female.
Players may only participate on one co-rec team.

PARKING NOTICE
You may not park in the Golf Range Parking Lot while participating in intramural sports activities. You may park in lot E-1 or E-5 adjacent to the IMA fields, parking fees apply.

EQUIPMENT
Players may use their own equipment or check it out on a daily basis from the IMA Issue Window. One bat, game ball and catcher’s mask will be provided for each game. Players may wear molded rubber-soled shoes like tennis or soccer shoes; metal or screw-on cleats are not permitted. The loss of IMA equipment during a contest may require that both teams be dropped from further participation if the equipment is not returned by the next scheduled contest.
Spikeball Tournament
ACTIVITY
The tournament is offered for Open teams (no gender specific rules or player ratio requirements).
The tournament will consist of 4-game pool play (2 games 7/9 and 2 games 7/11) followed by a double elimination playoff tournament (on 7/16 and 7/18).
Players may participate on only one open team.

Play begins July 9.
Games will be scheduled on the half hour from 5:00pm through 8:00pm, for Tuesday July 9th, and Thursday, July 11th. Teams should be prepared to play at any of these times. Playoffs will occur on Tuesday July 16th and Thursday July 18th (if necessary).

SCHEDULING SKILL LEVELS
If any particular class is lacking in numbers, enough for a proper tournament, we will contact each person and inquire about refunding the fee or moving up to the next skill level.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
After the entry deadline passes, teams are placed in the brackets on a random basis. The draw is posted on IM Leagues.
Matches will be mutually arranged by the participants. The winner of each match must report the score to the Programs Office or Intramural Manager prior to the due date on the schedule. Players should also check to see when their next match is due, and who their opponents are.

ACTIVITY
