It takes 1,000 volunteer donors each day to maintain a safe and reliable blood supply for patients in the Pacific Northwest; yet, less than 3% of eligible people donate. Hospitals depend on regular donors to provide lifesaving transfusions for those undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, or living with bleeding disorders.
