WA Hiking (Virtual)
Western Washington is known for its lush forests and towering peaks. Join UWild’s experienced staff to learn more about hiking near Seattle.

Intro to WA Rock Climbing: From Recreation to Rainier! (Virtual)
Washington is home to some of the most diverse climbing and mountaineering in the country. From Husky Rock (the first artificial climbing structure built on a university campus) to, “The American Alps” and everywhere in-between.
- We will be showing interactive maps and medias showcasing the best of what Washington has to offer.
- An overview of the new Covid-modified procedures at UWild Adventures Crags Climbing Center within the IMA.

Stand Up Paddleboard Tour (In-Person)
Join UWild’s SUP instructors to explore the beautiful natural areas just behind Husky Stadium!

FITNESS & MINDFULNESS
Untangle Your Stress with UW Recreation
Join Mindfulness Manager Danny Arguetty for a 60 minute exploration of small and manageable stress reduction techniques to support you in your first quarter at UW.
- Take time out to connect with other first year students.
- Move your body and connect to your breath.
- Learn techniques to navigate challenging thoughts that cause anxiety and stress.

Rec Class Pass – Fitness/Mindfulness Classes – FREE ALL DAY!
Join UW Recreation for FREE yoga, meditation, movement, fitness, and dance classes!
- Take time out to move your body, increase your energy, have some fun, and get your quarter started with wellness in mind.
- Visit our website to view all the class schedules and sign up! Available for sign up beginning September 22nd.
- Limited in-person spots are available, and all classes will be live-streamed and posted virtually.

INTRAMURALS
Come play lawn games for FREE with UW Intramurals!
- Individuals or teams of two can compete against other teams in a variety of lawn games including Corn Hole, Kan Jam, and Bocce Ball.
- Teams of two must be comprised of individuals within their own social circle.
- Event registration required as space is limited.
- Create an IMLeagues account using your UW email and sign up on our UW IMLeagues website.
- Game format – Corn Hole 1v1, Kan Jam 2v2, and Bocce Ball 2v2.

GOLF RANGE
Hit a bucket of balls at the Golf Range – FREE for fall quarter UW students
- All UW Seattle fall quarter students are welcome to come hit a free bucket of balls at the Golf Range!
- Students wishing to participate MUST make a reservation and provide their own clubs!
- No walk-ins or loaner clubs available.
- Reservations can be made here or over the phone (206-543-8759) up to one week in advance.

WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES CENTER (WAC)
75% OFF Boat Rentals at the WAC!
- Come on down to the Waterfront Activities Center (WAC) to get 75% off boat rentals!
- Reservations ONLY! You must submit a reservation request in advance. No walk-ups or same-day reservations accepted.
- Final confirmation will come via email after your request has been reviewed and processed.
- Two students per boat. Masks required. Husky Card and credit card required at time of rental.
- Book your start time using the link below. All boats due back by 5:00pm.
