What is Ariba?
Ariba is a web application purchased by University of Washington. It has two
purposes:
- eCommerce - The Requisition entry module is used
across campus to order goods from Stores and to order goods from selected off-campus vendors. Ariba
electronically sends Requisitions to One World, UW's Purchasing package, for
further processing.
- Approval Routing - Ariba is also a web-based
document router that can handle a wide variety of transactions
that require complex "electronic signature" approvals.
