About the Harborview Hansen’s Disease Clinic

The Harborview Infectious Diseases Clinic treats patients with bacterial, viral, and parasitic diseases that may result from wounds, surgery, international travel, or other exposure. Some of the most common diseases treated include bacteremia, cysticercosis, infectious diarrhea, osteomyelitis, endocarditis, parasitism, pyelonephritis, malaria, cat scratch disease, skin/soft tissue infections, and extrapulmonary tuberculosis and wound infections.

The full services of UW Medicine are available for primary and other specialty care services or hospitalization. Patients with hepatitis should contact the Harborview Hepatitis and Liver Clinic; those with pulmonary tuberculosis, the Public Health Tuberculosis Clinic.


Appointments and Referrals:
To make an outpatient appointment, contact the clinic Patient Care Coordinator at all 206-731-5142.

New referrals should be faxed to 206-731-5109 "Attention Infectious Disease Clinic."

The Infectious Disease Clinic is located on the second floor of the Harborview West Clinic wing.
