The Seattle museum community has tremendous range. This diversity of museums means that you are exposed to a wide range of museum practitioners, a wide range of museum models, and a wide range of skill-building opportunities.
Seattle truly has it all: from small heritage organizations run entirely by volunteers; to community museums like Wing Luke Museum of the Pacific Asian American Experience, Northwest African American Museum, the Nordic Heritage Museum; to large, multi-million-dollar museums like Seattle Art Museum, Pacific Science Center, and Woodland Park Zoo.

The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture and the Henry Art Gallery are both right on campus. Many students complete internships and thesis projects/research within their walls.
