Reserve a spot for Advising & Orientation

WHAT:
Advising & Orientation (A&O) is your introduction to the Husky Experience. You’re required to complete all three parts:

  • Part 1: Self-guided First-Year Checklist and Husky Foundations course
  • Part 2: Remote live session on Zoom
  • Part 3: In-person, on-campus community connection meetings

International students: You must also complete the International Student Services (ISS) Pre-Arrival Checklist. You’ll also be invited to Regional Connection Groups in the summer and International Welcome Programs Sept. 15–23.

Parents and families can register for the optional Family Orientation live on Zoom. Find newsletters, videos, our Parent & Family Guide and more on the Parent & Family website.

WHY:
In A&O, you’ll connect with an academic adviser to register for classes, meet current and incoming Huskies, discover important campus resources and begin building your community.

WHEN:
Reservations for A&O open May 14. For A&O Part 1, access your First-Year Checklist for specific reservation notices. A&O Part 2 will be held on Zoom from June through August. A&O Part 3 will begin Sept. 16–19 on campus. Meeting times will vary.
